How Logictap works

From first ring to booked job — without putting down your tools.

Logictap is the front desk for your home-service business. It answers in your business's voice, gets the details your crew needs, books the slots you've approved, and hands the call to you the moment it should.

One simple call flow

Your customer gets help. Your team gets the context.

Every call follows the rules you set during onboarding — routine requests move forward, exceptions reach the right person.

Step 1

A customer calls

Logictap picks up when you're on a job, already on another call, or closed for the day — greeting callers with your business name and your tone.

Step 2

It handles the request

It asks the follow-up questions you would ask, answers from your approved business info, and reads every appointment back before booking it.

Step 3

You stay in control

The booking lands in your calendar or CRM, your team gets a text summary, and anything urgent follows your escalation rules.

What it handles

More useful than voicemail. More consistent than a script.

Lead qualification

Name, service address, the problem, how urgent it is — and whatever else your team wants before a job goes on the calendar.

Appointment booking

Only the times and service windows you make available. It reads the details back and waits for a yes before booking.

Business questions

Service areas, hours, availability and any pricing you have approved — answered from your facts, never improvised.

Urgent-call routing

You define what counts as urgent. Logictap flags, routes or summarizes those calls the way your on-call process works.

Customer context

It recognizes returning customers from your connected systems, so nobody gets asked for an address you already have.

Instant summaries

The important facts land in a text the moment the call ends — no replaying voicemail, no deciphering handwriting.

Not on this list? Ask anyway.

The six above are where most businesses start. They are not the limit. If your calls need something specific — routing by area, chasing a quote that went quiet, reminding customers the day before, asking the one question only your trade would think to ask — describe it and we build it into your setup.

Built-in guardrails

It knows when not to guess.

Logictap works from the facts and instructions you give it. Anything outside those boundaries goes to a person instead of getting invented.

It always
  • Sticks to the jobBooking, FAQs and escalation — nothing else.
  • Confirms before bookingReads the appointment back, then locks it in.
  • Escalates sensitive callsAnything your rules flag goes to a human, not a script.
  • Finishes one request at a timeIt doesn't drift between topics mid-call.
  • Hands off the moment you pick upTake over any call, any time.
It never
  • Makes things upIf it isn't on file, it says so and flags it for you.
  • Gives medical, legal or financial adviceThose questions go to your team.
  • Discusses politics or religionEvery call stays on the customer's request.
  • Argues with abusive callersThey get redirected to a human, not a debate.
  • Uses profanityClean language regardless of the caller's tone.

Common questions

Before you put it on your phone line.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep the number your customers already know and forward calls to Logictap — we set that up with you during onboarding, and you choose whether it answers everything or only what you miss.

Can it use my calendar or CRM?

Yes. Confirmed bookings sync to supported calendars and CRMs on the Business plan, and Enterprise covers custom integrations.

What if it does not know an answer?

It says the information isn't on file, captures the request and flags it for your team. It doesn't invent an answer to keep the conversation moving.

Can I change what it says?

Yes. Your services, FAQs, escalation rules and brand voice are all configurable, and you can update them whenever your business changes. If you need something the settings do not cover, tell us what the call should do and we will build it — ask before you assume it is not possible.

Can I take over a call myself?

Any time. Pick up and Logictap hands the call straight to you — it is there for the calls you cannot get to, not to replace you.
